ABOUT LEAD  GUITAR
Lead Guitar an Arizona 501(c)(3) music program based in Tucson, Arizona. Lead Guitar establishes and maintains sustainable, year-long classical guitar programs in schools with large populations of at-risk students by matching a Lead Guitar master instructor with a certified music teacher. Using music and an instrument with “cool” factor, Lead Guitar provides daily in-school instruction with the aim of keeping kids in school. Lead Guitar serves 60 schools in 5 states. New centers of urban activity include
Chicago’s south side, central Phoenix, and Mendocino (CA), where the public
schools haven’t had music classes for 9 years.
